NPP GANGAGHAT MISSION

• To Reduce point Source Pollution From targeted Urban Areas of the Ganga River Basin.
• To Reduce Pollution through diffused Sources /Seepage due to Stagnation of Water.
• faecal sludge management & Requirement in NPP Gangaghat.
• Effort From Council side to Improve sanitation & Drainage Network in city is on the way through 15th Finance Commission & SFC Grants.
• Remaining Drainage Infrastructure is to be developed in wards length approx. 20 km.
• Big drain (Length 2.5 km.) is to constructed with a STP at END.
• This will improve sanitation situation in 4 wards along the railway track.
• Ward wise Construction of drains & their interconnectivity has to be developed for smooth flow of waste water to STP.
• To cover the major drains across the geographical area of the NPP two more STP’s are needed.
